Northville Central School District Board of Education members serve five-year terms. The terms rotate among the five members, with one term expiring each year, meaning a seat becomes available annually. Every yearly budget vote also includes a Board of Education election. The budget vote and Board of Education election is held each year on the third Tuesday in May.
This year, Northville Central School District voters will elect two Board of Education members, one to a full five-year term and one to complete a one-year term, with both terms to begin July 1, 2025.
Board of Education candidate nomination petitions are available to qualified district residents and may be printed here or picked up at the District Office at 131 South Third Street in Northville from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. BOE candidate nomination forms for the 2025-26 budget vote are due on Monday, April 21, 2025. Please contact the District Clerk at 518-863-7000, ext. 4121 for more information.
To be eligible to serve, board of education members must be U.S. citizens, at least 18 years old, and Northville Central School District residents.
